A Bucharest correspondent states that society at Bucharest has been much moved by the tragic incidents connected with a double suicide that has just taken place. A daughter of an ex minister married to a doctor in Moldavia, Bought and obtained a divorce. She and an officer in the artillery, Captain G , had become very strongly attached to each other, and after all the formalities of the divorce had been gone through. Captain G sought and obtained the King's consent to his marriage with Madame N ,The wedding day was fixed and all seemed bright and promising, when Bucharest was one morning pained and astonished to learn that Madame N had put an end to her life. It appears that just prior to the wedding the discovery was made, and revealed to the unfortunate lady that a blood relationship existed between herself and her lover that proved a bar to rheir marriage. Since Madame N 's death the captain has been in desj.air, visither tomb twice daily, and saying to his comrades that he should soon be with the object of his love. On Friday morning Ms orderly going to awake him to go on duty found his master lying dead. It seems he had taken a strong dose of poison. By the side of his bed was a volume of poems with dried edelweise between its leaves, and on the sofa a gown belonging to the late Madame N , strewn thickly with fresh rose leaves. j (For continuation of Heading Matter see fourth page.)
