WEtLUJOTOir, July 17- \ The third reading was moved by the v Hon. Mr Shrimski, and having been agreed to, the Coroner's Inquest Bill passed. On the motion for the third reading of the Industrial Schools Act Amendment Bill, the Hon. Mr Wilson moved that it be recommitted generally, and explained, as before, as bis reason for doing that he; desired to separate criminal children from those who are committed merely on account of poverty. He quoted Inspector Hume's report in favour of the inauguration of a reformatory, and stated that he objected to the boarding out of juvenile criminals. After some remarks by the Hons Mr Shephard and Sir G. S. Whitmore, the Bill was read a third time. The Council adjourned at 2.55.
