A Terrible Death
Mr Wright a farmer at Benandra, near Nelligen Now South Wales, in hi* efforts to sare a little boy, met with a; most horribU death. It appears that on the night in question Mr Wright was in the house in com■with a little boy who was staying at Ids place. They heard a disturbance Among the pigs in the stye, and the jrotjtngatar ran out to see what was the jnatter,: when he found that a boar pig had. broken in among a litter of jroung .*• porkers." The lad went into' the stye to endeavour to hunt him but,, when the brute made after him and literally tore the clothes off his back. The youngster's screams immediately attracted Mr Wright to the -spot, and dashing into the stye to rescue the boy, ho caught the pig by the ears. The brute ignoring the presence of the lad, turned on Mr Wright •with such ferocity that it was not long before he was torn and trampled to jnfceq.v vThe body/, which presented a terrible sight, was subsequently recovered by three men from Benandra, who had first to dash the boar* brains in with an axe. The coroner con* sidered that it was unnecessary to -hold an inquest, as it was evident how Mt Wright had met his death.
