Feilding Hunt Club

The annual general meeting of the ■ was held last night in the Denbigh Srilotel. Present— Messrs Saxon (in the chair), Goodbehere (hon. sec), Boake, Lance, Gibson, Macmillan, Benson, Gorton, Barton, Henry, Harley, N. Charlton, Cribb, Dr Charlton. The minutes of the previous meeting xc "point to point" steeplechase were read and confirmed. The Chairman stated the object of the meeting. Proposed by Mr Lance, seconded by Mr Gorton, That a Steeplechase Meeting ,be held on Monday, Bth September. — Carried. Proposed by Mr Lance, seconded by Mr Benson, That £120 be given in prizes. —Carried. . Proposed by Mr Benson, seconded by Mr Kirton, That the following gentlemen be appointed a committee to draw up a programme : — Messrs Saxon, Macmillan, liance, Clissold and Roake.— Carried. The following officials were appointed : Mr F. Y. Lethbridge, judge; Mr S. •' Powell, starter ; Mr J. E. Henry, handicapper; Mr Clissold, clerk of the course ; Mr Macmillan, clerk of the scales j stewwards, Messrs Lance, B. Edwards, B. Perrett, Clissold, C. Levett, Harley. Dr and N. Charlton, Kirfcon, Boake, and the , officers|qf the club. Besolved, That in the event of Mr Powell declining to act as starter Mr "Wood, of Bulls, be invited to perform the duties. The usual vote of thanks to the chair closed the proceedings.
