Coldstream Guards in Trouble

(PEE UNITED PSESS ASSOCIATION). London, July 7. The second battalion Coldstreams, cantoned at Wellington Barracks, on being ordered out for kit inspection, a body of the men refused to parade, and locked themselves in their rooms. The staff was sent for and the inspection abandoned. The men then paraded, hissing and hooting Colonel Maitland. The War Office is discussing the matter, and the regiment will probably be ordered on foreign service. The meni complain of being harrassed by useless drills and needless inspections.
