There was a very successful magic lantern entertainment held in St. John's | Sunday school on last Tuesday evening. \ The various other Sunday school children were invited free of charge. The Rev. Mr Innes-Jones, Messrs Corry, Bosher, and Gregory gave their services. At the conclusion of the show, Mr Shearer, on behalf of the Presbyterian Sunday School, thanked' Mr Corry in a few appropriate remarks for the pleasure given to the children of the school. Mr Darragh, for the Weslejan school, also thanked Mr Corry, and said if the children enjoyed themselves as much as he had, they had done well. The proceedings were closed by singing a hymn in which the children joined hearfily. The Rev. Mr InnesJones said he was glad to see so many different Sunday schools represented, and he accepted it as a token of mutual=good will ; he then pronounced the benediction •which brought to a close a very enjoyable evening. m^^ mmmmm^ mmmmmmmmm^
