Wellington Land Board

The usual ©rdinary meeting of this . Board was.held last Thursday. Present—Messrs J. W. A. Marcbant (Commissioner), H. Bunny, W. W, McCardle, W. A. Fitzherbert, and D. H. Macarthur. The total amount of land disposed of up to 25th June, 1890, for the past two months, according to the schedule, was 19,294 acres 2 roods 32 perches, the price realised being £1 6,046 6s lOd, the amount of cash paid amounting to _>937 8s 7d. The following are the capitalisations approved by the Board -E. W. Pemberton, C. J. Wratt,.H. Cornelius, F. F. Pemberton, W v F, Barraud, W. M. Donald. Extensions approved — G. Ohurcher. Transfers J approved — From J. Taylor, jun., to F. E. Allen, H.' Nicholson to E. Field, W. Brown to G. Shannon, F. Collier to S. Avery. The following applications to transfer, were also approved : — P. and J. Cavenagh to J. Golham, sections 6 and 7. block 11, Apiti ; F. A. Lowes, to* T"! Lowes, section 10, block 14, Apiti j A. E. Lowes, tp T. section 39, block 14, Apiti.; E, Haw&er, to A. Stuart, section 12, block. 12 X)ngo ; J. Wrightc^ to T. D. Wood, section 14, block 3j Apiti ; P. Brown •and M. Boyle to P; Brown, section 24, block 4 1 Onga. The Board next considered and approved the. following applications for transfers:- — P. Stratford and T. Stratford, section 47, block 13, Apiti, to F. B.M'Bett; L. Gulbrand, section 46, block 16, Ongo, to J, Larsen. E. W. Pemberton's -application to capitalise the unpaid instalments on his section, Apiti, was approved, as also was that of R. and &. Dawson at Kopurangi.
