(PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION). Bulls, This Day. A man named Samuel Klatt was killed yesterday at Carnarvon through a detached branch of a tree falling upon him while bushfelling. He was married, and leayes a family of several children. Auckland, June 17News was received in the city to-day that Herbert M. Jackson, a settler in the Moliirangi district, had been killed by a shot from a gun. No particular!* are yet to hand, but it is supposed that Jackson, who was a keen sportsman, liad gone out shooting and was accidentally killed June 18. A child nnmerl Credm, three years old, was killed at Whannapoua by beiag rt.n over by a tram engine, Mr Herbeit M .Tackson, who died sud denly at I'ort Albert, was not shot, as at first supposed. A young man named William Kyan whilst employed cuttin • logs at Tiki, Oororuandel, was struck by a rolling boulder and killed, Chbistohuhch, June 17. James Gray, a farmer, of Eyreton, was ihrosvn froiu a trap on Saturday and died to day from concussion of the spine.
