Kirton> and Gosling, and a full complement of non-commissioned officers and men were .present. Sefgt.-Major Macmtflun exercised the men in company movements* after which the corps waff marched back into the barracks and instructed in the sword bayonet exercise by Capt. Pleasants. Both in company drill and the? bayonet exercise the men acquitted themselves well, and the Sergt.-Major remarked on their great improvementSergt, Fowles had charge of the recruits who are getting on well under his isstrnction. Capt. Pleasants gave orders in connection with firing at the batte. The parade was then dismissed. " ;
