Good sorts were .well competed for, but the others were neglected. A portion of the sheep entered were medium! The remainder were totally unfit for the butcher. Pigs of a choice description occupied the pens, baooners and porkers being in fair demand. Steers, however, ■'.ill remain dull. ■ ...'■• Cattlb. --Bullocks, £5 17s 6d to £7; light and indifferent, £4 10s to £5 ss ; averages, £5 16s lOd and £4 15s. Sheep. — Medium ewes, 11s 3d; stores, 7s 8d to 8a 9d, • Pigs. — Large baooners, 365 ; others, 24s to 31s; porkers, 14s to 17s 6d; i stores, 6s 9d to 11s 2dv Ox beef, 15s 6d the 1001 b>.
