Manchester Boad Board
A meeting of ratepayers of No. 2 ward was held at Halcombe on Tuesday last. Mr Furkiss, member for the ward, presided. He stated the object of the meeting which was to discuss a proposal to . borrow &000 to be expended in the ward. After discussion, it was Resolved, That a poll be taken to raise a loan of £1000 in No. 2 ward, Manchester Road Bistrict, as per schedule advertised, and that the poll Jba held in the Halcombe Town Board office on Saturday the 14th June, 1890. The meeting then adjourned.
