Thk New Stanley Book.— Mr Bob. Geo. Marsh is the agent for thi* great new work on Africa. A brilliant work it is, for it contains hundreds of varied and beautiful illustrations, which of themselves are a pretty good history' of Stanley's last expedition. The narration is fascinating beyond description. The accounts of the natives, their manners, customs, and superstitions ire as vivid as a panorama passing befftre yon. The book abounds with narratives of adventure and battle ; all, as graphically told as they are magnificently illustrated. Livingstone and Gordon also come in for notice, though, of course, the recent wonderful expedition of Stanley is given the place of honor; It is a book which no one who pretends to read, and keep up ' with the time, can do without. All young people ought to read it, for it iB replete with information which will immediately pass into the geography of the world. The 'book is sold at a price within the reach of ■ everyone— far cheaper than if it were for sale in the book stores. It has had an immense run in Palmerston, and is sure to be appreciated here. — Advt.
