"The Octoroon"
The Feilding Dramatic Club had a full dress rehearsal last night of the famous | spectacular American drama, "The Octoroon." The several performers appeared to have a thorough appreciation of the characters represented, And were tolerably letter perfect, so that the duties of the prompter were not so heavy as they generally are with amateurs. The stage fittings and decorations have been well chosen and will assist considerably in the effect. The ©rchestra will not be the least pleasureable feature of the performance, as the appropriate music selected to be played during the progress of the representation has been carefully studied and practised. We expect to see crowded houses on both Monday and Tuesday nights^ because the audience will get specially good value for their money.
