The above took place on Saturday last and. excited a good deal ?of interest. -Seventy-six electors ifecordea their votes and of these^seventy -ftfnr polfod for Mr Rimmer, which is a high compliment to 'that gentleman. The candidates in favour of the extension of the number of hotels were the public favorites.
