Nearly ever building in the valley below the Prescott reservoir for a dis-' tance of 100 miles was destroyed by the burst. Amongst the townships devastated are Wickenburg, Seymour, and other villages. The dam was one of the largest in America. The flood resembled a wall of water 40ft high.
