o —• Mr J. Taylor wants tenders for painting his shop. Mr J. Palmer, of the Makino flaxmill, advertises £1 reward for the recovery of a horse. Tbe general meeting of footballers at the Empire Hotel on Saturday. A replace advertisement appears to-day from Mrs George Evans of the Feilding Fruit Store. Members of the Horticultural Committee will meet this evening at Mr Goodbehere's office. It will be seen by advertisement in another column that Mr J. J. Curtis, of Grey street, Wellington, draws the attention of the tradespeople and others to the advantage they will receive by bavins .joods consigned to his care. Consignees at present suffer from delay in transit a l Wellington, and the consequent expense of storage, whicii would be entirely avoided. Those wishing to send parcel* or presents to Europe are reminded that he hns a 01-enp prompt delivery by each of the direct steamers for London.
