Cricket
The cricket match between the Carnarvon and Oroua County Clubs on Saturday, last resulted in favor of the latter by 17 runs. Strachan (for Oroua) and Broughton (for Carnaryon) were the only two that reached double figures, each scoring 10; while Benson (20) and Cooke (10), for Oroua, and Broughtoh (13), for Carnarvon, were the largest contributors in the second innings! Strachan, while bating, had the misfortune to get one of his right hand fingers badly smashed, and he had to retire from the field. The follow,owing are the scores :— Oroua County.
