Volunteer Items
The Manchester Rifles will parade on Friday next in full dress. All members absent without leave, or medical certificate if sick, will be fined m the usual amounts. The official returns give for North Can- , terbury 1018 volunteers on the roll, and 701 efficient, who qualified for capitation, and 29 obtained marksmen badges. The Wanganui Artillery Cadet Corps has been disbanded. Col. Stapp will be the inspecting officer at the parade of the Manchester Rifles on Friday next.
