Borough Election
A good deal of interest was taken in the election for a Borough Councillor which took place on Thursday. Notwithstanding the inclemency of the weather qnite n number of burgesses who reside at some distance in the country settlements or adjacent townships, came in to record their votes. The results of the poll are pubh'shed elsewhere by which it will be seen Mr Sandilands polled 106, and Dr Monokton 97 votes.
