MARTON HACK MEETING. The above meeting was held on' Thursday last in the presence of a small number of spectators. The racing was exceptionally good, thanks to the handicapping of Mr J. E. Henry. The dividends paid were very large, four lucky investors on Pi'opellor in the Flying receiving £51 12s for their £1 ticket. Handicap Hurdles. — Rere, 1 ; Irucy Glitters, 2 ; Gaspirini, 3. Zas: Zig, Waokena and Apopo also ran. Dividend, .£9. District Hurdles. — Manganoho, 1 ; Moirangi, 2 ; Jacob, 3. Six others ran, including Zag Zig. Diyidend, .£l2 7s. Flying Handicap. — Propeller, by Papapa. 6st 101 b, 1 ; Huia, 7st 91b, 2 ; Nap, Bst 31b, 3. Christmas, Rere, Strephon, Oaklands, Nutmeg, Songster, Ferrnoy, Swivel, Rustic, Electric and Titia also started. A splendid race, all the horses beinxr in a bunch at the finish. Diyidend £52 7s. Maiden Plate. — Mr F. Bell's- Vision, 1 ; Slip, 2 ; Aroha, 3. Twelve others ran. Won hard held. Dividend, £3 7s. York Farm Handicap. — Orofton, 7st ; Christmas, Bst 81b, 2 ; Roulette, 6st 131 b, 3. Strephon, Nutmeg, Gaspirini, Nap, Oaklands, Huia, Swivel, Waokena, and Daybreak also rau. Won by two or three lengths. Dividend, £24 10s. Tutaenui Handicap.— Propellor, 1 ; Crofton, 2 ; Rustic, 3, Divdend, M 2s. The Three-year-old Stakes fell to White Rose, with Kathleen 2nd, Slip 3rd ; dividend, i'lo Is. Christmas appropriated the Forced Handicap, paying £2 14s dividend.
