George Thomas and Co. report pro* duce prices as follows : - Prime short oats, 2/4 ; ordinary feed- do, 2(3 ; oat meal, £13 to £13 10/-; oaten sheaf chaff, £5 to £5 10/- ; straw do, £3 ; roller flour, £9 5/ to £9 10/-; stone, do, £8' 15/- to £9 ; fowls' wheat, whole 3/2 to 3/3; broken do, 2/6; pollard, £3 10/-,- bran, £3 6/-; wheat meal, £9 ; maize (stock light), 3/4 to 3/6 ; feed barley, 3/- ;. pearl, do, £19 ; feed peas, 3/9; split peas, £15;* old potatoes, £3 to £3 10/. There is no sale for grass seeds. Chefese (Greytowu), 5d to 6£d ; haras and bacon, (demands for Christmas very brisk ), 7£d to 8d ; honey, 4£d ; lard, 3d to 4d ; salt butter, 6d ; fov fresh butter, 6d to 7d ; new potatoes (round), £4 to £5 accordiug to quality; do kidney, £6 to £7 ; baled straw, £3 10/- ; baled hay, L 4 ; new onions, l£d to 2d per Ib ; eggs, scarce at 1/- with an upward tendency ; green peas 3d to 4d per peck ; rhubarb, 3/6 to 4/6 per dozen; cherries, 13/-; currants, 13/p; oraugea, 10/- to 12/-; lemons, 25/-; bananas, of good quality and condition, 3/- to 5/- ; over ripe, des criptions, from 6/- per bunch (over 3000 bunches arrived ex Arawata on Monday) ; pines, 20/- per case ; apricots, 12/-; Melbourne cherries, in bad order, ex Tarawej-a, ruling from 5/- to 16/- per half-case. Poultry has receded iv demand. . Fowls, 3/- ; d iicks, 3/6 -to 4/- ; geese, 5/- to 5/6 ; turkeys, 7/- per pair.
