The Wool Market

The first local wool sale of the season was held at the' new stores of tbe^New Zealaud Loan and MercantUis^Sgenoy Company Wellington, on 'Saturda r afternoon. Bidding was* spirited thtougl aut, and the prices realised JZaai 'b highly satisfactory to wool grower who were fortunate enough to have their clips catalogued. Wool of a fine grade was - in gre eat demand, but coarse descriptio i also realisod well. Mr A. Todd, le company's local manager, acted auctioneer.
