Mr William Walls, formerly landlord of the Sandridge Hotel, Sydenham, was accidentally killed while out shooting oh Port Hills thie evening. He was getting through a wire fence, when the. gun went off, the charge lodging in his abdomen. He was 48 years of age, and leaveß a wife and ten children.
