A number of first-class cattle were yarded at Feiiding on .Saturday ; the -bidding was brisk, and good priceswere obtained. Sheep also sold well. At Sc. Hill-Btreet *o-day cattle and sheep were dull of sale, and slightly lower values had to be submitted to. Pigß were keenly competed for all selling at full values. We quote : — Cattle.— At Feilding : Forward bullocks, £3 10/- to £3 15/- ; fatcoara £3 5/- to £3 16/-; 2-year-old steers', £2 5/-; yearlings, in'/- to 15/. At St. Hill-street : Fat" cows, £3 5/- to £4 6/- ; 2- year-old steer b, 34/- ; weaners, 9/- to 12/ Sheep. — At Feilding : L Shorn 2tooth wethers, 8/-; hoggets, 6/6 to 9/9.
