Sir,— Many in Feilding and surrounding districts who deeply sympathis with the widow and s' children of the late Mr Edward Slattery, who was killed when clearing land for Mr B. R. Curtis, might be willing to give a help by subscribing something, however small, for so noble and generous an object.
