Odd Fellows lodge to-night. Mr S. J. Thompson, of tho Bed House, advertise new spring goods to-day.
An emergency meeting of the Feilding Masonic Lodge will be held on Prid? y next, at 8 p.m. In our wanted column Messrs Cobbe' and Darragh advertise for a good general servant, and a smart, well educated boy as an apprentice for the drapery trade. A lady advertises for a situation as companion or lady help. Letters are to be addressed to Stab office.
The Engineer of the Kiwitea Eoad Board calls for tenders for bushfelliug, stumping and clearing, particulars of which are given in the advertisement.
Cobbe & Darragh haye received a fnll range of new Samples of Kaiapoi Tweeds, from which they are prepared to take orders for Suits, &c, made to measure. They guarantee the fit and finish of all Garments which they undertake, and can supply them at a slight advance on the prices often paid for- ready mades.
