Feilding Cricket Club

A meeting of members was neld in Light's Denbigh Hotel on Thursday night when there was a good attendance. "Mr F. Y. Lethbridge, VicePresident, was in the chair. After the usual formal business, MrKtrachan was elected a member of the Committee in place of Mr W. Stevens (resigned.)

Proposed by Mr Gosling, seconded by Mr Daw, that no member of the Club be allowed to play in matches against the Club. — Carried.

Resolved, That Saturday, the 19th instant, be the opening day of the Club, when a match will be played between teams selected from footballers and cricketers, to commence at 11 a.m.

Mr Norman Gorton was elected an honorary member of the club.

Several n w names were added to to the list of numbers, and subscriptions paid to the Secretary.

The usual vote of thauks to the Chairman terminated the proceedings.
