A meetingin connection with the above was held in the .Manchester Road Board office iast. night. .- There was an average attendance Mr ; F.;. Y. Lethbridge was in the chair. The ' minutes of the previous annual meeting, 'also of the last committee meeting, were read and confirmed. Mr Hall proposed, and" Mr H. Fowleß seconded, That the Spring and Autumn 3howß be held on : the first Thursdays in December, 1889, and March, 1890, respec-, tively. • ■ : ■•■».. As the meetings of the Borough Council were held on these dates Mr Kirton proposed as an amendment, which was seconded by Mr H-, Worsfold, That the meetings be held on the first Wednesday in December, 1889, and March, 1890, respectively. — Carried. . The following officers were then elected : — Mr Lethbridgfiy president ; Mr Sherwill, vice-president ; Mir Goodbehere, secretary and treasurer. Committee — Messrs H. Worsfold; Chin;cherj G. -Wilks,/ AV; and C. Weightman, Hall, Fowles (senior), F. and H. Fowles, Barton, and Kirton, with power to add to their number. Schedule committee— -Mr Worsfold proposed, Mr Kirton seconded, That Messrs H. Worsfold, Sherwill, Barton and. G; : Walks be tho schedule cornmittet. It was arranged that the latter should meet pn Tuesday night at Mr Sherwili's office to prepare, the schedules, and report at a meeting of the general committee to be held on the following Thursday night in Mr Goodbehere's office. A vote of thanks to the chair terminated the proceedings.
