(per united press association.) Oamabit, September 7. Mr T. W. Hislop arrived in Oamaru this evening from the North, and was met at the railway station by a large crowd. The hoy Hutton was brought up at the Resident Magistrate's Court this morning, charged with unlawfully wounding, and was remanded till next Monday. The boy Biota whom Hutton stabbed is still alive, though in a critical condition. Bibnhkth, September 9. Mr T. Horton, trading under the namo of Fell Bros, and Op., general 'merchants, to day filed a petition in bankruptcy. It is stated that the only creditor is the Bank of New Zealand, to the tune of olose upon £10,000.
