Rink notices appear in our wanted column. A stack of good hay is advertised for sale by Messrs Retemeyerand Wrightson. Additions are made to-day to Messrs Stevens and Gorton's sale at Feilding on the 29th instant. Mr Arthur Derrner, of Cloverdene, Awahuri road, advertises the services of the Jersey bull General Booth. An important notice to the ratepayers is given to day by Mr E. Goodbehere, Cleric to the Kiwitea Road Board. Nominations for the annual election of three Borough Councillors are requested to be made on Saturday the 31st instant. A poll, if necessary, will be taken on the 12th of September. An advertisement from Messrs Baker and Co., re the champion sires Somnus and Doncaster, is published to-dny. The full advertisement will be published on Tuesday, giving details as to terms, dates, &c. S. J. Thompson is now showing a splendid lot of steel trunks, the " Mararoa" trunk and the '" Rotomahana." These trunks are in six sizes and are fully 25 per cent, lower in prices than former lots.
