Received August 20, It) am. 1 Paris. August 14 The High Court, by a majority of 206, has found Boulauger guilty of conspiracy, ami by 108 to 10 convicted him of treason. Count Dillon and Kothofort were found guilty of complicity, August 15. Boulanger, Dillon, and Eochefort were sentenced to imprisonment for life in a fortress. The Freuch Government are considering the advisability of demanding the extradiction of Boulanger, Dillou, and Rocbefort. There is no excitement over the verdict. The European press regard the matter as a purely political trial. London, August 15. Greece has been stopped preparing a floet for despatch to Crete. Owing to the lateness of the season many of the Ministerial supporters are absent from London, and the Government has experienced some very small majorities. The Freeman's Journal states that the Irish delegates have collected in Australia so far £19,000. General Grenfell, in recognition of his victory at Toski, has been pro inoted to the rank of Major-General. The summer naval munoeuvres are now going on. War is supposed to have been declared, and Admirals Tyron and Tracy are defending England, which is being attacked from Ireland by Admirals Baird and Darcy Irvin. Smith is willing to fight Slavin for £•500 or £1000. Unsettled weather is checking the harvest, but the samples of grain shown are of excellent quality. 10,000 dock labourers are on strike iv London. New has reached here that Stanley is going to Kaviranda Bay, on the eastern side of Lake Victoria Nyanza, whence he will make a start for the port of Moobaca.
