Svgar — German beet, 22s 6d. The market is weakening. The English wheat market is lifeless, the Continental is firm, and the American has an upward tendency. New Zealand wheat on passage averages 355. Forward business shows an advance in values. Foreign arrivals are moderate. There is a good demand for tallow. Good mutton is worth 27s 6d and good beef 25s 9d per cwt.
