Football
The first and second fifteen players are reminded of their matches with Woodville and Marton on Saturday week July 27th. The following players are therefore requested to roll up to practice on Saturday afternoon without fail : — Parr (2), Robinson, Harmer, Henry, Whisker (3), Saywell, Iveson, Gregory, Keightly, Lang, Bray, Hodges, Strachan, Stuart, Evans, Campbell, Terry, Halcombe, Fowler, Bilderbeck (2), Corkery (2), Bailey, Roache, Young, Horsford, Bellve, Dixon, Fanthorpe, Kitchen, Pope, Foster, Aitken, Collins, Bishop and all the Awahuri players All those players who wish to play in either match are requested to send in their names to the Secretary by Saturday so as to enable the match committee to select those who are certain to go. The teams will be picked on Saturday night. It is to be hoped that the first fifteen players will roll up to practice on Saturday better than they did on the Saturday previous ; if they don't they will very soon .loose the good reputation they have already gained, they cannot expect to go on winning if they don't practice.
