FEILDING POST OFFICE EOBBERY ALLENDALE SENTENCED TO 10 YEABS' IMPEISONMENT. (from our cobbespondent.) Wkllingtok, This Day. Allendale was found guilty and sentenced to ten years' imprisonment. Judge j Eichmond, during the hearing of the case, condemned the small country race meetings as the cause of increased crime. The case did not finish till late last night, and therefore the Feilding witnesses will not leave until to-morrow morning. Allendale challenged thirteen jurors. He was nervous at first, but soon recovered self possession, and when he heard the verdict of the jury and got his sentence he laughed. Wellington is greatly exercised over, the letters between Mr Geo. Fisher and the Premier, published in this morning's N.Z. Times. The weather is the finest ever experienced here.
