Continental iB changing for the better, and the American market is also advancing. The qu: a ;ty of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,512,000 quarters, and for the Continent, 248,000. The American visible supply is estimated at 16^,000,000 bushels. June 28. The wool market is very firm, especially in fine merinos and crossbred?. Fine medium greasy croßsbreds have advanced Id per pound. The Americans are purchasing freely. New Zealand mutton is selling at 6Jd per lb, and New Zealand lamb at BJd. Beef — Hindquarters, 4d per pound ; forequarters, 3Jd. The present stock on hand is 5000 carcases of mutton. The tallow market is fiat. Best mutton, 27/6 to 28/- ; best beef, 26/- to 26/6. Sydney, June 28. Deliveries of breadstuffs during the week : —From Victoria 167 tons of flour ; from Adelaide, 325 tons of flour and 60 of wheat ; from New Zealand, 391 tons of flour, and 117 tons of wheat. Owing to the dry condition of the wheat from New Zealand, it is now being milled without any mixture of South Australian wheat. New Zealand and Californian wheat is weaker, and is quoted at 4/- to 4/3.
