Feilding Hunt Club
♦ : A meeting of the committee was held at Hastie's Hotel last night, when the gentlemen who had been appointed to confer with the Eangitikei Hunt Club, with & 'view to arriving at an amalgamation of the. $wo . clubs in promoting and carrying out a hunt steeplechase meeting on the Feildihg Race course.' The report was unfavorable as the Rangitikei Club ! were averse to holding the meeting out of their own district. . After some discussion it was decided to have a meeting in Feilding if the necessary financial arrangements can be made. To that end.a general meeting of the members of the Club has been oalled for Thursday th« 27th instant.
