Football

The match between Greytown and Palmerston came off yesterday, and after a very one-sided game resulted in a draw in favor of the visitors, no score being made by either side. The visitors had their opponents penned in their twentylives from the start to the finish of the game, and they had extremely hard luck all through. Their forwards dribbled the ball across the line no less than seven times in the first twenty minutes, but failed to touch down. It was noticeable that the g.ime the visitors played was nothing equally as good as they played in Feilding. The following team will represent Feilding against Turakina, on Saturday, on the Cval. Play will commence at 2.45 sharp : — Full back, Dyer ; three-quarters, Gregory, Robinson, and Henry ; halves, Harmer and It. Parr; forwards, Keightly, Hodges, Iveson, Bray, M. Belfit, Horsford, Evans, It. and J. Whisker.
