Loughrny, M.H.E., forLinwood addressed a large meeting of Mb constituents to-nig-ht, and received a hearty vote of thanks and ranewad confidence. Auckland, June 6. Mr John Dillon, M. P. has accepted an invitation to vieit Auckland, but thinks he cannot come until the middle of August. He fears it will be impossible for Sir T. Esmonde and Mr Deasy to come to New Zealand. News hus been received of the recent shipment of wheat from Cambridge to Sydney. Three hundred sacks realised 4/9 per bushel. The expenses have n>t been stated yet but will probably amount to 1/1 per bushel. Dunedin, June 7. Nothing further has been discovered to link Waddell with the Wnitauhuna murder, but the prisoner is still in custody.
