By " Free Kick." The local club had. a capital practice game on £ a urday last, about twenty -five of the first and se and fifteens rolled up. Sides were p eked by Messrs Fowler and Harmer, and after a very evenly contested game the match resulted in a draw, each side securing seven points. The following players showed good form : Harmer, Keightlyi Iveson, J. Whisker, Robinson, and Hodges, the two former especially. It is to be hoped the players will roll up every Saturday the same and there will be no doubt about both teams having a successful season. The following team will represent r endin" against Turakina on Friday, at Turakina :— Bellve, Parr, Horsford, Robinson, Harmer,- Foster, R. and J. Whisker, Iveson, Gregory, Keightly, Hodges, M. Belfit, Kitchen, and Terry. Emergencies —Bray and J. Belfit. The team will leave by the half, past twelve train. Should any of the above players find they are unable to go they are requested to inform the secretary of the fact at once. The following team will represent tl c Second Fifteen against the Marton Sec - ond otrthe Oval:— Bailey, Dixon, Bra y, J and W. Belfit, Fanthorpe, Pope, Bild«_beek, R- Parr, F. Saywell, Collins, B. Whisker, Elson, E. and R. Corkery. Emergencies : Campbell, Aitken, Roache, Coombe, and Bilderbeck.
