Plot against the Czar

St. Petersburg May 18.^ A widespread conspiracy has been discovered among the Czar's regiments in Moscow, Warsaw, Yeligabetgrad for killing his Majesty. Many officers and soldiers have been arrested, and three officers committed suicide in order to avoid arrest. At Warsaw a search was made, and the detectives discovered a terrible bomb, which was intended to be used against the life of the Czar. The discovery of this recent plot has completely proctrated Her Majesty the Czarina, who has been suffering from nervousness since the accident to the Royal train on the Azoy railway.

The police in this city are aware that several bombs have reached St. Petersburg, and the Czar has been advised not to meet the Shah of Persia at the railway terminus on the occasion of his official reception here. The plot discovered against the life of the Czar is confined to the military, but it is believed that the ramifications are of a most extensive nature.

The Krasineki Palace at Warsaw, occupied by General Gourko, Governor of Warsaw, has been undermined.
