Maize, 2/9 to 3/3 with good demand for best dry sorts. Oats, 3/3 to 3/4 ; bright heavy nuliing, market dull. Bran, 1/- to 1/2.. New Zealand chaff, L 5 to L 5 5/-, good demand. Pollard; 'firm, 1/2 on the spot, scarce. Onions, Ll4 to Li 4 10/-. Blue: Prussian peas, 4/3 to/ 4/d. Potatatoes, New Zealand, L 4 10/- ; . Tasmanian, L 5 5/. Barley: Cape, dull, 3/3 to 3/4 '"; English, 4/6. Byegrass seed, scarce, 3/6 to 3/6. Cheese, plentiful^ 7d to 7^d; loaf, Bd. Butter: Local, "'fy-; factory made, good supply, 1/6; New Zealand dairy, 9d to 1/- ; separator made, 1/- to 1/2. Best qualities are scarce and in good demand, but eff sorts are peotiful and dull of sale. Bacon : New Zealand light cuts are 9£d to lOd. Hams, t/-
