Steady business is being dme in wheat. New Zealand sorts are quoted at 4/5 to 4/11 ; South Australian, 5/6. The following advances in Merinos have taken pace, as compared with the closing rates of the February sales: — ConbiDg (beat lambs), Id; greasy clothing (inferior lambs,) -Jd to Id ; inferior secured, Id to l£d ; superior scoured and fine crossbreds, Id. Ther* has been a gfn ral advance of fr >m 10 to 15 per cent on asfc year'B stock. The prospects for next series are bright. New Zealand mutton, 4£d ; lamb, sd; beef, 3fd.
