Mr G. V. Shannon, of the Totaras, has 200 acres of bush to fell. Mr Tripe, dentist, will be in Feilding on the 23rd and 24th instants. An important notice to bushfellers appears to-day from Mr R. R. Curtis, for tenders for felling 500 acres of bush in the Manchester Block. A land transfer notice, Frank Jeffries to John Jeffries, is published to-day. Particulars of the various events of the Feilding Jockey Club's Easter Races are published to-day. As will be seen by advertisement a dance will be hold, in the Assembly Rooms, at the conclusion of the concert. The annual meeting of hou-jehoHers will be held at the respective schoolhousss on Tuesday next, the 23rd inst., for the election of School Committees. Mr Keen, through the medium of our Wanted column, conveys Borne really good news to those who want to be well and neatly shod under all circumstances. The Refcnrning Officer for the Eiwitea Road Board, Mr E. Goodbehere, has a notice in to-day's issue re the election of Wardens ; also, calling a poll for the proposal to borrow iJ4OOO for the Feilding Small Farm settlement.
