Bulls April 8. Large entries of sheep came for■waid last week at our" Palmerston sale and a. few head of cattle. The biddirig was not so brisk for sheep as the previous week, but we sold all excepting two^pens. There was a slight rise ■ in cattle, but they are still very low. We quote — Cattle — -Cows and heifers, 34/- ; weanera nnd yearling, heifers, 11/- ; milkers, L 2 12/6 to lA 17/6. Sheep— F«t ewes, 8/%; good f m Lincoln ewes. 7/8 to 8/-; 2 and 4 tooth ewes, 8/3 ; 2 tooth ewes, 7/10 ; 2 tooth to f m ewes, 7/4 ; woolly lambs, 6/- to 6/6, shorn, 4/- to 6/- ; Lincoln rams, 1£ to 2£ guineas.
