I*,s disposal and settlement will provo of great benefit to the Manawatu district, and especially to Feildiug, destined in the near future to bp one of the most flourishing inland towns in the colony. Attention has already been attracted to the forthcoming sale on account of the fayovable conditions of the land for settloment and its accessibility to a market, and it is the intention of the Board to advertise it in the principal centres of the other island, as well as in Wellington and the West Coast of this island. It will be disposed of for cash and ou deferred payment. The sale will take place in Wang nui in about a month's time. A telegram from Wellington informs us that Mr Bal lance's mission to Wellington respect ing the remission of thirds in the Harbor Board Endowment Block has been successful, and there is every prospect of the land being in the market immediately.
