Another engagement has taken place between the insurgent forces and the troops of General Legitime, commander of the Government artny. On this occasion the latter were routed with considerable slaughter, and the loss of 200 prisoners, including 12 general officers. No quarter was given, and the prisoners were immediately butchered in cold blood in revenge for the execution of the insur gentleader, Hippolyte, at the beginning of laet month. J
