A terrific fight took place here to-day between Mulholand, the- Australian champion light weight, and Mahon, the local light weight, for the championship of the Pacific. Eighty-nine desperate rounds were contested, after which the referee deolared it a draw. Both men received severe punishment. New Tobk, January 8. Kilrain and Sullivan will fight for the championship of the world at New Orleans in July, the stakes being $20,000. January 10. Kilrain is shuffling over the terms of his fight with Sullivan.
