Potatoes — Owing to large arrivals, potatoes have reduced in price, and are quoted ■at present at i'lo to i'l2. They are «xpected to be still lower in a few days. Onions, ill to .£l2 ; maize, 3/6 to 3/7 ; oats, 3/7 to 4/- ; bran, lOd ; pollard, lid. Wheat— Chick feed, 3/10 to 4/- ; milling sorts, 5/- Butter— Local, 1/3 to 1/6 ; best imported separator-made, 1/3 ; dairy, 1/to 1/1. There are large supplies on the market. Cheese — Local, 6d to 7d; New Zealand, 7d to 7£d.
