The Borough Pound

Poundkeeper appoints' the dates contrar; to section 41, which says that sales BhaJ be held at such times in every month a the local authority shall prescribe, b; public notification. (3) Section 32 stipulates that the Pound keeper shall supply cattle with a suffici ency of wholesome food and water eacl day, between 6 and 9 in the morning, am 4 and 6 in the afternoon. Now, I ask has this been done ? and does the Pound keeper consider that, by grazing the ani mala an hour or two a day on the streets or giving them a little rough grass whicl he cuts from the streets, that he is com plying with the Act ? (4) Has the Poundkeeper any lega! right to advertise cattle as being impounded in the public Pound when he has then: grazing at large, or in private paddocks 5 — I am, &c., Impounding Act.
