Christchurch, December 10. Kaye and Carter report the Christchurch grain and produce market as follows :— Wheat : Tuscan, 4/8 ; pearl, 4/6 ; Hunters', 4/6 firm. Fowls wheat: Good whole, 4/- to 4/3; broken, 3/9. Oats: Milling, 4/-; bright short, 3/9; good short, 3/8 ; duns, 8/9 ; black, 3/9; Danish, 3/6. Barley: Prime malting, 4/6; feed, 8/3; Cape, 3/6; pearl, X2Ol Flour : Roller, Ll2 ; stone, Lll. Oatmeal: In 251 b bags, L2O ; iv 71bs, bags L 22 10/-. Ryegrass!: Medium dressed, 3/- and 3/3. Cocksfoot: Heavy dressed, 3/£; medium, 3£. Potatoes: Dements, L 8 (very scarce). Butter, lOd. Cheese: J_oaf , 6d; medium, s£d (scarce). Hams, B_-d bacon, 6Jd.; hams and bacon, Bd. The above prices are all f.o.b. Lyttelton, sacks and packages extra, except when otherwise specified.
